HortWeek and GroundsFest have teamed up to launch the inaugural GroundsFest Innovation Awards celebrating excellence and innovation across landscaping, amenity management, turf care, and related industries, which are free to enter.
SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE is 21 July 2025.
The awards ceremony will take place on 9 September at the show with champagne courtesy of GroundsFest 3pm in the HortWeek Seminar Area (Hall 3).
The awards give exhibitors a chance to highlight their products and technologies to GroundsFest's engaged audience of professionals, with shortlisted entries featured in HortWeek’s dedicated awards hub and event coverage.

- Turf care consumables (grass seed, fertilisers etc)
- Grass cutting & other turf care machinery
- Tree care & forestry
- Landscape (weed zappers, paving slabs, fences etc)
- Transport (vans, ATVs, tractors etc)
- Services (insurance, contractor services like weed killing or de-icing etc)
Judging
Judging will be led by HortWeek’s technical editor, Sally Drury, with independent experts. Finalists will be publicised in August and winners selected on Day 1 of GroundsFest (9 September).
As well as breakthrough products and technologies, the judges will be looking for enduring excellence for products with incremental improvements to a proven, industry-standard design, with innovation and sustainability also a focus for their criteria.
More than 60 products launched at GroundsFest in 2024. With 63 brand-new exhibitors already signed up to this year’s show, as well as 93% of 2024 exhibitors rebooked, visitors can once again expect to see the most innovative products and technology the industry has to offer.
