Visitors to stand H20 at Stoneleigh Park on 16 and 17 September will have the opportunity to test the new series firsthand, alongside Ferris's wider portfolio of professional groundscare equipment.

Designed from the ground up for commercial contractors, the Z1-P series prioritises agility, productivity, and operator comfort. The new models are equipped with Ferris’s patented Triple™ mowing technology, featuring heavy-duty, configurable decks engineered to withstand daily commercial use. Every machine includes all necessary components in the box to easily convert between rear discharge, side discharge, or mulching setups.

The models on show:

81 cm Compact Model: this narrow-profile mower is engineered to fit through standard residential gates enable working in confined spaces.

91 cm and 122 cm Models: suited to broader applications and larger commercial green spaces.

The Z1-P platform features enhancements aimed at reducing operator fatigue and minimising mechanical downtime:

  • wider platform and cleated footrests improving stability and comfort when navigating uneven terrain.
  • automatic PTO shutdown instantly stops the cutting blades when the operator steps off the platform. This allows contractors to safely clear ground obstacles and immediately resume mowing without needing to restart the engine.
  • redesigned dashboard provides ergonomic access to all primary controls.
  • accessible transaxles and streamlined service points help keep operators working longer by reducing routine maintenance time.
  • extended commercial warranty
To support the new design, Ferris has upgraded the warranty for the Z1-P series from 500 to 750 hours or four years, whichever comes first. Operators also benefit from unlimited hours during the first two years of ownership.

Phillipp Deubel, senior director of sales EMEA at Briggs & Stratton said:

"GroundsFest is a valuable opportunity for us to showcase how Ferris continues to develop professional mowing solutions around the real demands of contractors and grounds care teams. The new Z1-P is a great example of that approach, combining Ferris’ focus on productivity, operator comfort and durability in a completely new platform. We’re particularly excited to bring the compact 81cm model to the UK market, giving professionals greater access to the benefits of stand-on mowing in tighter spaces."
