Led by its UK design team, NOVA's new Eleanor range is on show at its new Experience Centre in Cambridge.
“The Eleanor is subtle and not overrun with gadgets,” says Charlie Pritchard, a product designer at NOVA. “Instead, the intricate details are what make this collection truly innovative and fresh to the market.”
Introducing innovative materials
From sleek aluminium framework to rope detailing, the Eleanor range combines multiple on-trend materials. While ‘rope’ – a weatherproof olefin weave wrapped tightly around a plastic inner core – is relatively new to the UK, it has taken Europe by storm in recent years and softens metal frames without looking dated.
However, NOVA believes the star feature of the range is how the aluminium frame is overlaid with a thin film which is then heat-transferred to the furniture, giving it a natural wood look. “This isn’t being done everywhere, making this range a stand-out in our collection,” says Charlie. “The natural look of the furniture will suit plenty of gardens, but the aluminium gives it a more robust and weather-resistant durability when compared to real wood.”
Outdoors and indoors
While the Eleanor range feels modern and fits into any forward-looking garden, its wood-look effect means it also suits a more traditional setting.
A lounging collection, the Eleanor range not only works in modern and traditional gardens, it is also designed to fit seamlessly into any indoors or outdoors setting. “The Eleanor blends indoor functions with outdoor design,” says Charlie. This smart functionality includes Eleanor’s handy slide-out shelf, which is designed to act as a tuck-away table for drinks.

Visit NOVA’s Experience Centre
If you want to check out the Eleanor range - alongside all of NOVA’s new collections - you will need to book a visit to their Experience Centre. A 44,000sq.ft. space that will be the largest trade showroom in the UK, it will be the only place you’ll be able to see NOVA’s furniture in 2024 as the brand won’t be attending trade shows.
Almost fully booked for June, and for most of July, NOVA recommends booking your visit as soon as possible if you are looking to place orders for next year.
