Deroose Plants is also at Four Oaks. News is that Deroose has started production at third site in China:

Vandeputte Belgium is a specialised Belgian nursery with more than 55 years of experience in the production of young plants for professional growers, which produces 4.8 million young plants per year, in around 1,200 varieties from its own cuttings. With around 95% of production exported, international trade is part of its daily business. Documentation, phytosanitary requirements and international shipping formalities are therefore handled with expertise and efficiency.

Vandeputte specialises in young conifers and shrubs grown in 9 cm pots. Plants are generally delivered at between 18 months and two years old. During cultivation, they are carefully pruned several times to develop strong, healthy, uniform and well-branched plants.

Denis-Plants grows young plants from tissue culture. The assortment varies from indoor plants to Hellebores and a range of perennials. The Belgian lab cooperates with labs in Vietnam and China. All plants are grown on in Belgium. Being the European market leader, Denis breed all its Calathea on its own.  From 2027 onwards Denis also offers a range of Helleborus orientalis seedlings, 70 varieties of ferns from spores, and over 150 items of divided grasses.

Deroose Plants specialises in the laboratory-based propagation of ornamental plants and plantation
crops, complemented by vegetable and fruit crops. From sites in Belgium, the United States and China, Deroose Plants, together with its subsidiary Exotic Plants, propagates and produces a wide range of houseplants. Deroose Plants’ strategic focus lies on research, innovation and the introduction of new
