VLAM – Flanders' Agricultural Marketing Board – will once again host the Flemish Pavilion at the Four Oaks Trade Show on 2-3rd September 2026. Five Flemish horticultural businesses will be exhibiting, highlighting the quality, innovation and flexibility of Belgium's nursery sector under the theme ‘We Grow Your Way’.

Visitors to the pavilion can meet suppliers specialising in young plants, tissue culture, trees, shrubs and propagation technology, and discuss tailored solutions for professional growers.

Young plant specialists

Denis-Plants celebrates 50 years of producing young plants using tissue culture technology. The Belgian family business specialises in hardening in vitro plants before commercial cultivation, supplying around 12 million young plants each year from a catalogue of more than 800 indoor plant and perennial varieties.

With its own R&D laboratory in Belgium and partner laboratories in Asia, the company continues to invest in automation, peat-free production and research.

Deroose Plants is an international specialist in tissue culture propagation, with production and research facilities in Belgium, the US and China. Its portfolio includes ornamental crops such as bromeliads, orchids, Ficus and Spathiphyllum, alongside plantation crops including cocoa, rubber and oil palm.

The company says ongoing investment in research enables it to develop new varieties and propagation techniques while improving production efficiency and sustainability.

Vandeputte Belgium has specialised in young shrubs and conifers in 9cm pots since 1972. The family business produces around five million plants each year across approximately 1,200 varieties, with most production exported throughout Europe.

Plants are grown primarily from cuttings and pruned several times to produce vigorous, well-branched young stock suitable for container or field production.

Trees and landscape plants

SYLVA brings more than 250 years of family growing experience to Four Oaks. The Belgian nursery cultivates 120ha, producing around 25 million forest, hedge and landscape plants each year for customers in 40 countries.

Its range includes forest and hedge plants, flowering shrubs, conifers, ornamental plants, rootstocks and young Christmas trees. The business continues to invest in automation, logistics and production technology to support international growth.

Tree Nursery Marc De Raeve, founded in 1920, specialises in fruit trees, flowering trees, avenue trees, ornamental trees, conifers, shrubs and standard roses for the professional market.

Now managed by the third generation of the De Raeve family, the nursery supplies customers across Europe and focuses on producing healthy, vigorous plants from carefully selected rootstocks.
