£1,400,000 on offer for allotment development tender

Broxbourne Council is seeking a landcape contractor to redevelop 28,000m2 of unused land in Wormley, Hertfordshire to provide a new allotment garden.

The development will create 23 allotment plots, parking and a new bellmouth access from an adjacent road.

Works include road entrance access works, earthworks including remediation of topsoil and a cut and fill exercise.

In addition there will be civils works to the aforementioned road including kerbing, fencing, drainage and soft landscaping and planting works.

The contract will run from 6 August 2025 to 13 November 2025.

The deadline date for receipt of expressions of interest is 10 June 2025.
