Scottish Government calls for UK-wide peat ban and more Westminster money to restore Scotland's peatlands
Scottish agriculture minister Jim Fairlie has written to Defra secretary of state Emma Reynolds about a "shared intention to ban the sale of peat in horticulture, and to urge you to bring forward legislation on a cross-UK basis".
