NFU doubles down on call for SPS delay, while plant importers welcome Defra progress on EU agreement

As Defra sets out which food, feed and farm practices it expects will be aligned with the EU as part of the future SPS (sanitary and phytosanitary) agreement, the NFU is calling for delays, while the ornamentals horticulture trade wants a deal as soon as possible to end the “import lottery”.
