New exhibitor for Four Oaks: Sussex Seed Balls

Ahead of Four Oaks trade show (Cheshire 2-3 September), Sussex Seed Balls are launching a range of wildflower seed balls, with varieties for all soils.

Sussex Seed Balls

At Sussex Seed Balls, we believe wildflowers really, really matter. The more wildflowers we grow, the happier our pollinators – the birds, bees and other insects – will be. They depend on wildflowers for food throughout the year. The WWF tells us that ‘on a single day in summer, one acre of wildflower meadow can contain 3 million flowers, producing 1 kg of nectar sugar. That’s enough to support nearly 96,000 honey bees per day.’

We make small-batch seed balls & unique botanical gifts. All products are made using the seeds from UK native wildflowers, and all of which have been specifically chosen to attract bees, butterflies & other pollinator pals!

We have now launched six new sets of seed balls, perfect for your local conditions & to give you the best growth:

Wildflower (for all soils)
Claggy Clay
Enchanting Chalk
Woodland Wonder (for damp & shady areas)
Perfect for Pets (perfect if you have pets who love to eat your flowers)
Small is Beautiful
