Trafford Council is developing a framework agreement to facilitate the procurement of a full spectrum of arboricultural works.
The framework will be divided in to 6 Lots and those Lots will operate by using schedules of rates submitted by contractors as part of the process or by call-off contracts where contractors will be invited to provide quotations for work in a ‘mini-competition’ format.
The services required are:
- Lot 1 Tree pruning, felling and full spectrum of arboricultural works
- Lot 2 Emergency call out works
- Lot 3 Works for restricted access
- Lot 4 Stump Grinding & reinstatement
- Lot 5 Epicormic growth removal
- Lot 6 Supply of trees
This contract will be in place from 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2027 with the option to extend by up to 12 months in aggregate to 31 May 2028.
The deadline date for receipt of expressions of interest is 8 March 2024.
