Rachael Forsyth, Christina Taylor, Matt Appleby (all HortWeek), Deric Newman (Glendale), Imogen Bell (Provender) and Alex Radoi (Magic Gardens) were the winning team in the fundraiser at the Perennial Pie and Pint Quiz night on 15 January 2026 at Steam Wine Bar in London.
The fourth annual fundraiser and networking event raised several thousand pounds for the horticultural charity.
Perennial CEO Jamie Gault opened by talking about doubling Perennial's help. David Dodd was quizmaster, joke teller and auctioneer.
Wayne Grills of BALI won best joke with: 'What do you call a man with a number plate stuck in his head? Reg."
Attendees numbered around 100 and included Anne-Marie Powell, Paul Cowell, Richard Gardiner, Paul Downer, Creepers, Provender, Landform, The Outdoor Room, Bury Hill, Location Landscapes, Rod and Debs Winrow, Alistair Bayford from Frosts, YPHA committee member Lilidh Matthews amd Plant Healthy's Malcolm Catlin.
The Geeks also won in 2023 and 2024.
