The international green sector is gearing up for the second edition of Greenitaly, the International Exhibition of Horticulture and Landscape, taking place from 7-9 October 2026 at the prestigious PalaVerdi in Parma, Italy. Building on the success of its debut edition, the event is establishing itself as the leading B2B platform that connects 'Made in Italy' horticultural excellence with influential decision-makers worldwide.

A strategic hub in Italy’s greenest smart city

Hosted at PalaVerdi – the largest high-tech theatre-pavilion within the Fiere di Parma exhibition centre – Greenitaly offers an exceptional venue designed specifically for high-level B2B networking. Parma ranks among Italy’s leading smart and green cities, with a long history of public and private investment in sustainability. Centrally located within a 200km radius of Italy’s main horticultural districts, the venue provides an ideal hub for international visitors.

Bridging the skills gap and driving innovation

Leveraging Fiere di Parma's global expertise and organised in close cooperation with ITA (Italian Trade Agency), Greenitaly 2026 will showcase the entire commercial supply chain, from wholesale production, machinery and smart irrigation systems to sustainable urban design and outdoor living solutions.

A key focus of the 2026 edition is its educational programme, which aims to address one of the industry’s greatest challenges: the shortage of qualified personnel across the supply chain. Daily panel discussions will bring together students, experts and industry leaders to help bridge the skills gap and inspire the next generation of green professionals.

Global networking and cross-sector synergy

The exhibition is designed to attract a highly qualified international audience, including plant nurseries, garden centres, landscape architects, developers and general contractors. Building on the strong international response to its debut edition – which welcomed visitors from across Europe, with 25% coming from the rapidly growing Middle Eastern market – Greenitaly 2026 promises outstanding networking opportunities.

Greenitaly will run alongside Mercanteinfiera Autumn, one of Europe's leading fairs for art, antiques and contemporary design. For visitors, it offers the chance to explore the latest in landscape products and plant supply alongside trends in architecture and design, all in one trip.

Looking ahead: the future of urban ecosystems

From urban forestry and peri-urban carbon credit policies to international export certification, Greenitaly 2026 is much more than a trade exhibition. It is a forum where the landscapes of tomorrow are shaped. For UK professionals seeking reliable, certified plant suppliers and the latest innovations in Mediterranean and urban greening, Greenitaly is an essential event in the autumn calendar.
