Government plans to ease CITES plant import red tape
After a consultation, Defra plans to cut expensive red tape around importing plants deemed to be CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) risks that are in reality artificially propagated in commercial glasshouses.
