Climate data reveals changing conditions for UK growers
New analysis provided to Harrowden by environmental data scientist Dr Tim Farewell shows that the theoretical thermal growing season in Eastern England has increased by around 22 days – from approximately 222 days in the 1980s to around 244 days during the 2020s.
