Chief plant health officer says Defra is tackling plant import crisis but challenges remain ahead of SPS agreement

Baroness Hayman and chief plant health officer Professor Nicola Spence have been questioned by the EFRA Committee about biosecurity and borders ahead of a SPS sanitary and phytosanitary agreement with the EU being finalised in 2027.
