Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ Agave raises the roof
After 10 years of care and nurture, Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ Agave sisalana (sisal hemp) has produced a huge sword-shaped spike which has peeked through the roof of the Arid Glasshouse and is currently reaching over 3.68 metres tall.
