Works under the contract principally comprise landscape maintenance and common close cleaning services.

Landscape maintenance services include litter picking, grass cutting, shrub bed, hedging and leaf collection to existing properties and common landscaped areas throughout the Cardonald and Pollokshields ares of Glasgow as detailed in the landscape architects tender drawings.

Additional works may also include:

  • bulk uplifts
  • tree maintenance services
  • tree and stump removal works
  • repairs to existing damaged grass and landscaped areas
  • planting and landscaping improvement works at the Queensland Community Gardens estate

Landscape maintenance will initially be undertaken to estates located at St Andrews Drive, Queensland Community Garden and Halfway Park but additional estates located on the south side of Glasgow (valued at the rates within Tender Document A) where the maintenance requirements are similar in character, may be added.

The Common Close Cleaning maintenance requirements will principally involve weekly internal and external cleaning to properties, and also monthly and six monthly cleaning activities.

The contract will run for 21 months initially from 1 July 2025. But there will be optional annual 1 year + 1 year + 1 year extensions up to a maximum contract completion date of 31 March 2030.

The deadline date for receipt of expressions of interest is 15 May 2025.
